NOTICE OF CHANGE TO MAIL PROCEDURES
Effective June 2024 personal mail will no longer be accepted by the County Jail.

Mail – All personal Mail must be addressed:

Legal Mail – All legal mail will be sent directly, to the Lancaster County Prison marked as legal mail on the envelope. Legal mail will be delivered to the individual unopened to ensure confidentiality. The individual is required to open the document in front of staff and acknowledge receipt of the correspondence either written or electronically.

Tablets/Kiosk/Telephones – A tablet is issued upon commitment. In addition, all units are equipped with Kiosks and telephones.
E-Messaging – Available through Securus. E-Messaging allows digital communication between the incarcerated individual and their friends/family. More information is available on the Securus website, which can be accessed by clicking https://securustech.net/
Telephone – Telephone calls may be from the institution via their tablet or unit telephone. Please note that three-way calls are prohibited. More information is available on the Securus website, which can be accessed by clicking. https://securustech.net/
