About the Authority: The Authority's Board of Directors are responsible for ensuring the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority fulfills its mandate of preparing and implementing the Lancaster County Municipal Waste Management Plan. Activities of the BOD include review and approval of the annual operating budget, capital expenditures and other related financial activities, as well as set policy and approve relevant transactions and activities.
The Board of Directors is comprised of 9 at-large citizens and residents of Lancaster County Appointed by the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners for a 5 year term.
