About the Committee: The committee serves to provide advice, review and commentary on solid waste management issues and programs for the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority's Board of Directors. The committee aid's the board of directors to ensure that they are successful in implementing the Lancaster County Municipal Waste Plan.
The committee consist of up to 15 citizens and residents of Lancaster County appointed by the Lancaster County Commissioners. Members include representation from a broad spectrum of interested groups, including host municipalities of LCSWMA facilities, citizens groups and waste haulers.
